The Mets Now and 3 Years Ago

The past years the Mets haven't been the top team in the NL East division. 2 and 3 years ago the Mets were actually in first place, but at the very end of the season they choked. In 2008 and 2007 they didn't even make the playoffs. However, this year the Mets are in 2nd place currently behind the Atlanta Braves.

    And in second place they will stay, but they could get Wild Card spot if the Mets get a hitter before the trade deadline.

    The Mets are 3.0 games back so they are relatively close. Pinstripe Power.
